Welcome to Eldora-New Providence Elementary School!
Eldora-New Providence (E-NP) Elementary serves approximately 300 students in grades PK-5 and is home of the TIGERS! Our staff works hard to offer students a meaningful elementary experience where kids can grow as young learners and citizens. A variety of initiatives are in place to improve academic achievement, including classrooms focused on Balanced Literacy Framework, Multi-Tier System of Support (MTSS), Professional Learning Communities, and the use of Teacher Leadership to guide our practices. We use Caring School Communities programming, have training in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors. We are a technology-rich school with multimedia classrooms and a one-to-one laptop program.
Eldora is located in central Iowa with the Iowa River on the east edge of town. It is home to Pine Lake State Park, a newer family aquatic center, a newer public library building, and Pine Lake Country Club, which is home of Iowa's most beautiful 9-hole golf course. Proudly, the Hardin County Performance Series brings a variety of artists into our community offering our residents enriching experiences with performing arts. Eldora is a friendly and family-oriented community with a population of approximately 2700 people.
