Dear South Hardin Schools Family,

Sadly, I’m writing to let you know that I have received information this evening regarding the death of one of our cherished South Hardin Middle School students. All of us at South Hardin Community Schools are shaken by this news and are still gathering details as law enforcement completes their investigation. 

We will have classes as scheduled on Monday, April 15, 2024.

Members of the district counseling staff, along with the Central Rivers AEA crisis team members, will be on hand at South Hardin Middle School beginning tomorrow for those who may need additional support. Students will be encouraged to utilize crisis team member support as needed.

Once additional information is made available we will keep you informed. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
